What the heck is an AWeber Chicklet?
AWeber just released a great new feature that is sure to increase your opt-in conversion rates. It's called the AWeber Chicklet.
What is the AWeber Chicklet?
Basically it's a tiny box that sits next to your AWeber opt-in form. This box displays the number of readers that have already joined that particular list.
Here is what the Chicklet looks like:

So what is the big deal with the chicklet? How is this going to help you?
Well, the chicklet is a very powerful piece of Social Proof.
Let's say you have a newsletter or ezine that you want people to sign-up for.
Some people may be hesitant to sign-up because they have never heard of you and don't really have a reason to trust you.
Fair enough, nobody wants to be spammed..
What if that same hesitant person saw an AWeber chicklet that displayed 1000's of readers below the opt-in form?
Two very powerful things happen:
1) They become instantly curious - If all these people are readers, there must be something good inside. What am I missing?
2) They trust you more - They see that 1000's of people already trust you, so they instantly feel more trust for you.
Boom! That simple little chicklet can increase your conversions dramatically and it takes just 60 seconds to implement.
What if you don't have 1000's of subscribers?
Don't worry about it. Even if you only have one subscriber, that is still social proof. It might not be as powerful as having 1000's, but it will still have a positive effect..
